Naár Pincészet
A budding winery in Gomboshegy
The history of the Naár family dates back to the founding of Hercegkút in the 1750s. The ancestors who arrived from Swabia quickly learned the art of viticulture. Although the winery in its current form only began bottling and selling wine in 2009, the family has been involved in winemaking for generations. In 1954, the ancestors purchased the dilapidated Gomboshegy cellar, which they later carefully restored.
On their vineyards, they cultivate classic Tokaj varieties: Furmint, Hárslevelű, Yellow Muscat, Kövérszőlő, and Zengő. The winery's offerings include both fresh, tank-aged wines and classic barrel-aged Tokaj wines.
The winery boasts a tasting room that can accommodate up to 60 people, offering an unforgettable experience to visitors through local hospitality, excellent wines, Swabian gastronomy, and the stunning views of Gomboshegy.
Their hard work and dedication have paid off: the winery's 2019 vintage Aszú won a Grand Gold medal at the VinAgora Wine Competition.
If you're visiting the wine cellars, be sure to stop by this outstanding winery.
